  1. Everything goes OK with this install until “configuring Moodle: part 5-6”; I am using a remote SQL server, SQL 2005, db set up as described. On entering the database info, the system appears to go through a process, but never finishes… config.php appears in the c:php folder rather than the wwwroot as described, so the instructions on 6 make little sense and I get no further.. what have I missed? Thanks

  2. Good morning Alex,

I was trying to download your whitepaper on Install Moodle 2 on Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server 2008 R2 and IIS, but all it gives me is an image of the first page. Has that whitepaper been pulled?

  3. Alex,

Your whitepapers are all fantastic. They are going to be incredibly useful over the next few months.

My question I hope will be a very simple one.

How well does your whitepaper “Implementing Moodle on a Windows High Availability Environment” work in a Moodle 2 environment.

I know you are mainly focusing that whitepaper on Moodle 1.9, but would applying the steps in that whitepaper to Moodle 2 work? Or is it not that simple…?

    Many thanks

  4. Works brilliant up until I have to choose the database type. I don’t get the option to choose SQL*Microsoft Server – I only see MySQL. What have I done wrong?!?!?!

  5. Hi Alex,

    Mhack…
