I’ve been given a Microsoft MSDN Subscription to give away to the great community that I am part of. The prize has come from Microsoft and I’ve been given free rain on how to give this out.
What is MSDN?
MSDN stands for Microsoft Developers Network and is a community of how to documentation and code on Microsoft products. It ranges from SharePoint to ASP.NET to Windows Server.
The subscription is worth over £10,000 (according to Amazon) and includes most Microsoft software including some of the golden oldies like: Windows 3.1 (16 bit), SharePoint 2001 and Project 95 and some of the more recent products include Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 and Office 2010.
You can see what is available to download here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-gb/subscriptions/downloads/default.aspx
How do I enter?
One of my passions is to share my experience with the online community and I want to encourage others to do that as well.
We are looking for your stories on how you have implemented a product into your school and how it has either effected you personally, your team or the the whole school. It doesn’t just have to be a product, it could be a fix, the FITS Framework or a whole new network.
If you want to enter you can submit you entries to Alex Pearce at apearce@bfcnetworks.com by 1st November 2010. You must keep within the 500 word limit as well.
How will it be judged?
There are 5 members of the judging panel who will make the final decision of the winner. They will be judging on the following.
- Innovation. How innovative was the change?
- Impact. How the change to your network impacted you, the team or the school?
Closing date is 1st November 2010 and the winner will be announced on the 15th November 2010.
If you want to enter you can submit you entries to Alex Pearce at apearce@bfcnetworks.com.
